For many high school athletes, there is always a dream of playing in college, but in reality, many athletes never see the field or the court at the next level. However, for a select few, they get to live out their dream of playing the sport that got them through everything in life. For one Georgia commit, that is exactly what committing to the Bulldogs means to him.
For 4-star running back Jae Lamar, committing to Georgia was the culmination of something that had been brewing for a while. Lamar chose Georgia over the Miami Hurricanes, as the Georgia native was emotional about his commitment and felt like he was a total priority with the Bulldogs.
Lamar's emotional interview at his announcement with DawgNation could make even the coldest heart melt, as the young running back was so grateful for Georgia making him a priority and taking a chance on him.
"I just thank God for back when I went from all the situations I was in, and now I just thank God, I'm honestly speechless about this day," Lamar told DawgNation.
