Georgia football and Kirby Smart are still looking to earn their first commitment out of the transfer portal. And while the Bulldogs could use some help at most positions, they clearly need the most help at wide receiver.

Thankfully that is the position Smart has been pursuing the most, and that continued this weekend as Georgia is hosting yet another transfer receiver from an SEC school.

Texas A&M transfer WR Noah Thomas

Noah Thomas is a transfer wide receiver from Texas A&M that has recently entered the transfer portal. And according to Matt Zenitz with 247Sports, he has been on a visit to Georgia this weekend.

Thomas just wrapped up his third season with the Aggies and is coming off his best season of his career. He finished the year with 39 receptions for 574 yards as well as eight touchdowns.

The talent is clearly there from Thomas, so he would be a great addition to the program heading into next fall. He also is the perfect option because he only has one year of eligibility remaining. The Bulldogs have an elite wide receiver class from the 2025 high school recruiting class joining the program this offseason, but they may not all be ready to contribute on the field next year. So having a player like Thomas join the fold for one year while these incoming freshman develop would be extremely helpful for the program.

Georgia will have to fend off Texas and Miami (FL) who are two other teams linked with Thomas, but so far Georgia is the only school Thomas has visited. So hopefully this visit goes extremely well so Georgia is the team at the top of his list. And who knows, maybe the visit will go so well that he wants to commit to the Bulldogs before visiting any other program.
