Day one of the 2025 NFL Combine is in the books, and four Georgia football stars all had impressive showings at the Combine on Thursday. However, there was one Bulldog who stood above the rest, and that is defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins.
Before jumping into why his performance was so impressive, here is a look at some of the things said about him by NFL Draft experts Danial Jeremiah and Peter Shraeger, courtesy of Georgia Bulldogs on SI.
Outstanding Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins quotes
"Ingram-Dawkins is very athletic, you saw it with the forty and you’re seeing in the drills,” - Daniel Jeremiah on Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins.
"This is a great example, if he would have gone in the transfer portal, I promise you there’s a million dollars waiting on him in the transfer portal instead of coming out.”
"This is one of my winners right here, He’s looked excellent."
"I’m buying a little Ingram-Dawkins stock today. I have him in that 4th to 5th range, he’s one of those guys I’m going to have to dig back in on.”
"I saw Jeremiah Washburn down there, the defensive line coach from the Eagles, we can stop the broadcast and just mark him (Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins) as an Eagle,” - Peter Shraeger on Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins.
Why is everyone raving about Ingram-Dawkins?
Ingram-Dawkins got off to a fast start (literally) at the Combine when he ran the second fastest time in the 40-yard dash from a defensive tackle. He then followed that up by having an elite performance in just about every other drill he participated in.
That may seem like a blanket statement, but there really is no better way to put it. And the best way to show that is that Ingram-Dawkins ranked 14th out 1,812 defensive tackles at the Combine dating back to 1987 in his RAS score.
Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins is a DT prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.93 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 14 out of 1812 DT from 1987 to 2025.

Ingram-Dawkins is certainly one of the players who will see his draft stock skyrocket after the Combine. Many draft experts viewed him as a late round pick in the NFL Draft, but that will be changing in a hurry. It's unlikely he will jump into the first round, but Ingram-Dawkins could easily move up into the second or third round of the draft and be a day two pick later this spring.
