Georgia running back Cash Jones was one of the most overlooked players throughout his entire career. He only saw the field in specific moments, typically on third downs, and only made a few memorable plays throughout his career. Those plays however were good enough to impress anyone who was watching.
Jones did not get invited to the NFL Combine earlier this offseason, so Georgia's Pro Day was his only chance to show NFL representatives what he can do. Those from NFL organizations who attended Georgia's Pro Day likely came to see other players, but when it was Jones' turn to run the 40-yard dash they all stopped what they were doing to watch him run.

Cash Jones makes undeniable case for why he should be drafted
Jones is not the biggest guy on the football field. In fact, he might be the smallest outside of the kickers. But what he lacks in size he makes up for in raw speed as he showed during the 40-yard dash.
Nearly everyone at Georgia's Pro Day stopped what they were doing when it was his turn to run, and thankfully they did because Jones ran one of the fastest times of the day. Some scouts in attendance even had him running a sub-4.40 which only the top speedsters can do.
Jones however still needed to prove that he can be effective on the field beyond his speed, and he made sure to do that while running routes on Wednesday.

Jones will never be a lead running back on an NFL team. But that is okay, his skillset is still perfect for what NFL teams are looking for. He is an ideal third down back who can come out of the backfield and make big catches in the passing game while also being able to run for first downs when needed as well.
His speed will certainly help him get drafted this year, but he is much more than just a fast football player. All it takes is one NFL team to recognize that and he will hear his name called during the NFL Draft later this summer.
