ESPN's College GameDay was one vote away from unanimously picking Georgia to beat Alabama on Saturday. But the one crew member who sided with the Crimson Tide was none other than Nick Saban.

It isn't surprising to see Saban side with his former employer, but is that who he truly thinks will win? When announcing Alabama as his pick, Saban made it very clear that he was picking Alabama because that is what his heart told him. But reading between the lines it's clear that his brain thinks Georgia will win.

Nick Saban isn't sold on Alabama beating Georgia

Saban could've listed a lot of reasons why he thought Alabama would beat Georgia. But instead of that he chose to say that he was only picking the Crimson Tide to win because that is what his heart was telling him.

Reading between the lines it's easy to see that Saban's brain is telling him something else. It's quite clear to see that deep down Saban believes Georgia will be the team that emerges victorious.

Saban has one of the greatest minds college football has ever seen, so more often than not it is wise to believe whatever his brain is saying. And even though he didn't admit it, it seems like he thinks Georgia will take the Crimson Tide down.

Picking Georgia to beat Alabama is something Saban will never do publicly, and it's hard to blame him for that. But at the end of the day it doesn't really matter what he or anyone else says. Even if he picked Georgia to win it wouldn't have mattered. All that matters is what takes place on the field when these two teams battle it out, and thankfully fans don't have to wait much longer.

Kickoff between Georgia and Alabama is scheduled for 7:30 pm EST on ABC.
