Nick Saban just warned Georgia that there are six teams that could unseat them atop the SEC this season. There are more than six teams that are capable of beating Georgia this year, but Saban only believes six teams have a chance to win the SEC title instead of Georgia this season.

Those six teams according to Saban are Texas, Ole Miss, Alabama, Texas A&M, LSU and Oklahoma. The good news is that Georgia only plays three of these teams during the regular season, but they still need to be mindful of how these six teams are doing throughout the season as they look to win the SEC for the third year in a row.

Nick Saban names 6 teams that can unseat Georgia in the SEC

Of these six teams there is only one that Saban considers a front runner alongside Georgia. That team unsurprisingly is Texas who has slightly worse odds than Georgia to win the SEC.

Georgia and Texas don't play this season, but most of the country is convinced they will meet in Atlanta in the SEC Championship game.

After Texas there are five other teams that Georgia should keep a close eye on. Alabama, Ole Miss and Oklahoma are the three teams on this list that they play this year, so those are the teams Georgia will have to be the most prepared for.

Georgia hosts Oklahoma in week four before playing Alabama and Ole Miss on the road later in the season. Because of those two road games it feels like the Oklahoma game is a must win for Georgia, but if UGA can go 2-1 in these three games then they will really love their chances to get back to the SEC Championship game and make the College Football Playoff.

Similarly to Texas, LSU and Texas A&M are not on Georgia's schedule so there is no need to worry about them right now. Georgia however should gather some good tape on each team because if they make it to Atlanta one of those teams could be waiting for them.

3 more teams Georgia should be nervous to play this season

Outside of Oklahoma, Alabama and Ole Miss there are three other games that could cause Georgia some trouble this season.

Georgia has completely dominated their two SEC rivals in Auburn and Florida for the last decade, but they still can't be overlooked. Weird things happen in rivalry games every year, and with both teams having new head coaches who knows what they're going to throw at Georgia.

Then there is Vanderbilt who in the past has felt like a bye week for Georgia. That is no longer the case though, especially with former five-star QB commit Jared Curtis under center. Georgia does get Vandy at home for their homecoming game this season, so that should ensure they do not overlook the Commodores. But there is a chance for this game to sneak up on them since it is one week after they host Oklahoma.

It won't be easy for Georgia to repeat as SEC Champions this season. Saban thinks there are a lot of teams that can take them down, but the Bulldogs are the favorite for a reason so they should expect to win the conference once again.
