No. 1 Offensive Lineman is trending to Georgia

Georgia football has been making a lot of progress with one of the top offensive lineman. That offensive lineman is PJ Dean, who according to On3 is the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the country. Dean is also the No. 22 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 3 player from his home state of North Carolina.

On3 recently made a big update in Dean's recruitment as they named Georgia the leader in his recruitment by giving them a 50 percent chance to win this battle. However, this updated prediction did not come with any public intel, so there was still a lot unknown about his recruitment.

The unknown surrounding his recruitment however no longer exists as Dean just announced his top three schools.

Georgia has made top three for PJ Dean

According to On3's Hayes Fawcett, Georgia has made the top three for Dean along with South Carolina and Ohio State.

Based on the prediction from On3, it appears that Georgia is the team to beat for Dean while South Carolina is running in second place right now. On3 gives the Gamecocks a 29.4 percent chance to win this recruitment, so it looks like Ohio State is a distant third place in this recruitment right now.

Things however can change in a hurry, so it will be interesting to see if UGA can end up on top or not in this recruitment.

The most interesting fact about Dean is that he can actually play on the defensive line as well. He projects to be a star offensive lineman in college, but being able to play on defense speaks to how impressive he is athletically. And understanding how to play on the defensive line should only help him even more in knowing how to block on offense.

So of all the lineman Georgia is targeting in the 2026 class, Dean would be one of the biggest victories for Kirby Smart and his staff if they can end up on top.
