Georgia football has officially done the unthinkable and have earned a commitment from five-star quarterback Jared Curtis for the second time as Curtis announced his commitment to Georgia over Oregon Monday evening.
Curtis is the No. 1 QB in the 2026 recruiting class, so it's obvious how excited Georgia fans are. But the fact that UGA was able to earn this commitment after Curtis decommitted from Georgia back in October makes this commitment that much more exciting.
In true Georgia Bulldogs fashion, fans flocked to social media to share their excitment with this commitment, and here are the best reactions that were posted immediately after Curtis made his commitment official.

How did Georgia beat Oregon?
After Curtis decommitted from Georgia last October, pretty much all hope was lost in the Georgia fanbase. That was even the case after Curtis shared that Georgia was still one of his top schools along with a few others.
But everything changed the second Curtis announced that his two finalists were Georgia and Oregon. That is when fans really began believing that this recruitment could end in their favor once again.
However, it wasn't easy to beat the Ducks for Curtis because they are one of the top programs in the country who potentially have the best NIL department as well. But Georgia's NIL isn't too bad either, and they have recent history on their side as they won two National Championships, something Oregon has never accomplished in their programs history.
So that fact, along with how close Athens is to Curtis's family in Tennessee compared to Oregon, is what put Georgia on top. And now that Georgia has earned Curtis's commitment, everyone can now look forward to the rest of the summer that should be full of more big commitments just like this.
