Everyone on the College GameDay crews believes there is no chance that Georgia is going to lose to back-to-back ranked opponents, not even Stanford Steve. At the end of the show, the long-awaited game picks arrived, and with Georgia hosting gameday, of course, they are the last game to be selected.
It really didn't seem like a tough choice, though, for the crew at the desk to all pick the Bulldogs as Desmond Howard kept it short and simple and went with the Bulldogs, believing in head coach Kirby Smart.
This had to of been a tough pick for former Alabama head coach Nick Saban as both Smart and Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin come from his coaching tree. Saban was able to talk to both of his former coaches on the show, Smart in person, and Kiffin over the phone, but Saban is riding with the coach who has actually won a National Championship.
Saban made the tough pick, but let's face it, the right pick, and went with the Georgia Bulldogs to upset the higher-ranked Ole Miss Rebels.
To the surprise of no one, guest picker Jelly Roll went with the Bulldogs, but he certainly did it in big fashion. Using his love of country music and knowing where he was, Jelly Roll named all the famous southern country music artists who are fans of the Bulldogs as he put on the Georgia "Spike Squad" pads, screaming his pick for the Bulldogs.
To end the show, Pat McAfee went with the crowd yet again after going against the grain last week and picking against the home team.

McAfee probably knew that if he picked against the Bulldogs, he would have a mob on his hands to deal with as Georgia fans ride hard with the Bulldogs.
Even Stanford Steve went with the Bulldogs, meaning Georgia got the clean sweep, which sometimes can be a little scary, especially if the Rebels somehow pull off the win. However, Georgia is playing at home in Athens, and they aren't planning on showing their fans another loss in their own stadium anytime soon.
