Georgia football has the biggest game on their schedule quickly approaching. The Bulldogs face No. 5 Ole Miss this Saturday in a game that will has huge implications on who will win the SEC and make it to the College Football Playoff.
Both Georgia and Ole Miss have clear advantages over each other, but the Rebels found a way to get creative and earn a significant advantage that could impact the game this Saturday.
At this point, there’s just nothing left to say about Georgia in the first quarters.

Will be very interesting to see how they weather Ole Miss, who has admitted they’ve spent the last two weeks(bye/WSU) preparing for Saturday. https://t.co/dr4vOdPIrq
Lane Kiffin gets creative to find unique advantage vs Georgia
According to the above report, Ole Miss has spent three weeks preparing for Georgia. This includes spending a lot of time getting ready for Georgia two weeks ago during their bye week and focusing more on UGA last week instead of Washington State who they just played on Saturday.
It isn't uncommon for teams to use their bye week to prepare for multiple future opponents. Kirby Smart even admitted to doing this during their bye week last month. But it sounds like Georgia is the only thing Ole Miss has been thinking about for three weeks now, and that gives them a big advantage over Georgia.
The Bulldogs haven't had a chance to start preparing for Ole Miss until this week. They were too busy getting ready for Kentucky two weeks ago and Auburn this past week that they couldn't afford to use any of their time on Ole Miss. So that means when these two teams kickoff on Saturday Ole Miss will have spent three times as long preparing for Georgia than UGA did for them.
This strategy almost cost Ole Miss on Saturday as they only beat Washington State by three points when they were favored by 33 points. But they were able to survive which at the end of the day is the only thing that matters.
Georgia fans will find out how much this advantage truly matters on Saturday when the Rebels and Bulldogs do battle in Athens.
