Georgia football is favored by a touchdown against Ole Miss in their upcoming matchup at the Sugar Bowl. The consensus across college football fans and media is that Georgia will win this game, but Ole Miss couldn't disagree more.

Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss held his media day at the Sugar Bowl earlier this week, and he talked about where his confidence is coming from heading into this matchup.

"We felt like we were the better team that day and we felt like we should have won that game."

Georgia will make Trinidad Chambliss regret saying they are the better team

That is a very bold statement for Chambliss to make for two reasons. The first is that Georgia scored 43 points and never punted the ball all game. How can he say they should've won the game won Georgia was that dominant on offense?

On top of that, Cahmbliss himself didn't have that good of a game throwing the ball. He did run for two touchdowns, but he only completed 19 of 36 passes for one touchdown through the air.

The Ole Miss offense overall however did play extremely well. They scored a touchdown on their first five possessions in the game and typically 35 points is enough to win a game. But their defense let them down which allowed Georgia to leave no doubt that they were the better team that day.

Can Ole Miss pull off the upset at the Sugar Bowl? Absolutely they can, and Chambliss has every reason to be confident entering this game. But he doesn't have the right to act like they were the better team ealier this season because anyone who watched the game knows that Georgia was in fact the better team.

Georgia however should thank Chambliss for saying this because now they have a new reason to be extra motivated to prove him wrong.
