There are only a few teams in college football who can realisitcally have winning a National Championship be a goal for them every season. Ohio State and Georgia are two of those teams.
Both schools have won a national title recently, but they want nothing more than to get back on top of the college football world this season. Ohio State and Georgia will both have a good shot at doing so, but On3 analyst JD Pickell chose to shout out the Buckeyes instead of Georgia.
“Ohio State is better positioned to win a national championship this season than they were a year ago.”@jdpickell pic.twitter.com/scCbM10hym

Ohio State was given a vote of confidence that Georgia deserves
Pickell believes that Ohio State is in a better position to win a national title this season compared to last year. While there could be some truth to that, the fact that he didn't even mention Georgia is problematic.
Georgia had a shot to win a national title last year, but they ultimately failed to win a playoff game for the third year in a row. But even if that's the case they are absolutely in a better position to win it all this year.
Gunner Stockton being back for his second season as Georgia's starter is a big reason why they are in a better position to win it all this season. On top of that, Georgia returns a lot of key players from a team that went 12-1 and won the SEC before the playoff. Last years team was one of the youngest in the country, so all of those players returning a year older with more experience has to count for something.
People love to point to Georgia's style of offense as a reason why they won't win it all this season, but even if their offense isn't super exciting they produce results and that's all that matters.
Ohio State deserves respect heading into this season, but Georgia deserves to be right their with them.
