The rest of the country should be nervous.

Georgia football just wrapped up their 2025 SEC season on Saturday. The Bulldogs faced a tough Texas team, but instead of a close battle like everyone expected Georgia emerged with a blowout 35-10 victory.

This was the best performance of the season for Georgia as all three phases of the game played lights out. Georgia's defense held Texas in check all night, Gunner Stockton and the offense shined against a Longhorns defense that had been playing extremely well, and even UGA's special teams made some big plays which included a surprise onside kick.

This Georgia team is playing their best football at the end of the season, and On3 college football analyst J.D. PicKell summed up those feelings to perfection after their win over Texas.

On3 says Georgia is playing their best football at the right time

PicKell in the above video discussed in great length how Georgia is playing their best football right now. This is coming at the perfect time because Georgia has just two games left this regular season before postseason play begins, so this is the exact moment that teams wnat to be playing their best football.

But not every team can say that right now, especially in the SEC. PicKell pointed out that while Georgia is trending in the right direction right now, other teams around the country are not. Alabama just lost their second game of the season at home to Oklahoma while Texas A&M barely beat a 3-7 South Carolina team by one point. Even Ole Miss barely survived an upset bid by Florida this weekend as well.

Georgia however played a top 10 Texas team and came away with a dominant 25 point victory. It really can't get better than that, and while other teams are limping to the finish line it is Georgia who is finishing strong and playing their best football at the perfect time.
