Georgia football is at the halfway point of their season, and to no one's surprise they have a few very difficult games left on their schedule. However, there are a few games that many thought would be an easy win for Georgia as well.
This shockingly included the Texas Longhorns who were the preseason No. 1 team in the country. The Longhorns were sitting at just 3-2 heading into their week seven showdown with Oklahoma and were coming off an ugly loss to Florida. But instead of rolling over and giving up they dominated the Sooners in what was one of the most shocking results of the college football weekend.
This result now changes the narrative surrounding Georgia's future game against Texas because it does not look like it will be an easy win anymore.

Texas absolutely dominated Oklahoma from the opening kickoff en route to a 23-6 victory. The Sooners were the No. 6 team in the country and still undefeated, so no one saw this outcome coming.
The most concerning thing from this game is the fact that Arch Manning appears to have found his stride. Manning's struggles this season were the biggest reason why Texas struggled, and the consensus was that if he began playing better Texas would start to win. And that is exactly what happened on Saturday as he completed 21 of 27 passes for one touchdown while also being effective with his legs.
Both Georgia and Texas have three more games before they play each other on Nov. 15, so everyone will know a lot more about both teams before this game is played. But this big win from Texas should make Georgia fans a little nervous because a game that once looked like an easy win now looks like it could be one of the most difficult left on their schedule.
