Georgia football continues to push forward in the transfer portal as they look to add more players after earning commitments from three transfers at once on Sunday. However, UGA also needs to be mindful about who could potentially decide to leave Georgia and head elsewhere.
The Bulldogs had one player decide to enter the portal on Tuesday in veteran defensive back Chris Peal, but two Bulldogs did announce on Monday where they will be continuing their college careers.

On top of that, fellow wide receiver Michael Jackson III also signed with Purdue on Monday as well.

This is an interesting landing spot for both players since the Boilermakers were one of the worst teams in all of college football during the 2025 season. However, that could be a draw for them as well as that means there are a lot of opportunities for immediate playing time upon their arrival.
Their transfer to Purdue is nothing new to Georgia fans, because Purdue has setup a pipeline from Athens to Indiana when it comes to former Bulldogs in the portal. These two transfers surprisingly mark the fifth and sixth Bulldogs to transfer to Purdue in the last two years as a whopping four Bulldogs made the move to Purdue in 2024.
This included two more wide receivers in CJ Wiley and De’Nylon Morrissette as well as corner Nyland Green and EDGE CJ Madden.
So far this Georgia to Purdue pipeline has not worked out for the Boilermakers as they finished 1-11 in 2025. Hopefully that changes heading into the 2025 season, because it is always nice to see former Bulldogs find success after transferring to a new school.
