Apparently, picking Georgia to beat Alabama is a punishable offense when Nick Saban and Bryce Young are around. Pat McAfee found that out the hard way on College GameDay
McAfee was the only member of the College GameDay cast to pick Georgia over Alabama in tonight's big game, and he learned quickly what not to do in Tuscaloosa in front of a couple of Alabama legends.
When McAfee made the unforgivable mistake of picking the Bulldogs to beat Alabama, Nick Saban and Bryce Young responded by giving him a hilarious (but obviously staged) beatdown, sending McAfee to the stage floor.

Nick Saban and Bryce Young couldn't handle Pat McAfee's Georgia pick
Georgia apparently had two opponents on Saturday: Alabama's football team and Alabama's former coach enforcing loyalty on national television.
It was kind of fun seeing Alabama's legendary former coach and Heisman-winning quarterback team up over a prediction, especially when this happened the last time those two teamed up against the Bulldogs.
McAfee may have taken a theatrical beating, but at least he had the stones (and good sense) to pick the Bulldogs in front of two Alabama legends. While the beating might have been fake, the taken-aback reactions from Saban and Young were hilariously real.
Georgia fans have a love-hate relationship with McAfee, but they may have a new reason to appreciate the boisterous ESPN personality. Perhaps this pick was an apology for his butchering of the Redcoat Band chant on GameDay in 2023.
McAfee trolled Georgia fans by leading a Georgia chant before famously yelling "Give Me Alabama!" to pick the Crimson Tide in the 2023 SEC Championship Game, and he picked Georgia in last year's SEC title game to somewhat redeem himself.
McAfee might have lost the battle with Saban and Young on the GameDay set, but Georgia fans are hoping he wins the argument when the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide meet on the field.
