Fans react to the match made in heaven with Ladd McConkey going to the Chargers

Ladd McConkey going to the Chargers is a match made in heaven with a quarterback like Justin Herbert.

Ladd McConkey is an LA Charger and apparently, fans think this is the perfect landing spot for the Georgia wide receiver. After the Bills started the second round by selecting Keon Coleman out of Florida State, the Chargers must have felt they couldn't wait any longer to get McConkey.

McConkey raised his draft stock significantly in the Senior Bowl showing his elite route-running ability. Everyone thought the Chargers would take a wide receiver in the first round, but instead chose to take an offensive lineman to protect franchise quarterback Justin Herbert. Hopefully, with more protection, Herbert will have the time to throw touchdown after touchdown to McConkey

McConkey has dealt with injury in his career, but he can be a dangerous player on the field and is the perfect player for new head coach Jim Harbaugh. Fans agree as they are showing on X (formally known as Twitter) that they approve of the pick.

The Chargers finally got Herbert a weapon after losing so many in the offseason. A lot will probably be put on McConkey's shoulders in his first year, but every Georgia fan knows he is up to the job.

Harbaugh has experience coaching in the NFL so with the veteran mind of Harbaugh, the arm of Herbert, and the excellent route running by McConkey, this could be one of the best duos in the league after some time and work together.

Coleman was taken right before McConkey by the Bills, it will be interesting to compare the two careers in their rookie seasons. Will the Josh Allen-Coleman duo be better than the Herbert-McConkey duo? Only time will tell.

The stats don't lie, McConkey goes to LA as the bonafide WR1 right now with very little competition. If he can take those stats to his pro career, McConkey could be the steal of the draft with Herbert at quarterback.

Everyone at Georgia has always known McConkey has that dawg in him, now it's time for him to showcase that in the lights of LA. McConkey has the ability to look like an absolute steal in the draft and make teams wish they had not passed on him.
