Georgia’s SEC schedule in 2024 is brutally difficult, but it gets off to a relatively easy start. After beating up on FCS Tennessee Tech in Week 2, 48-3, the Bulldogs will open up conference play in Lexington Kentucky against former Georgia quarterback Brock Vandagriff.

Vandagriff already made his SEC debut for the Wildcats in Week 2, a disastrous 31-6 loss to South Carolina at home. Vandagriff finished the game 3/10 for 30 yards with an interception and was benched for Rutgers transfer Gavin Wimsatt.

The Gamecocks dominated Kentucky in the trenches, so head coach Kirby Smart and defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann should be licking their chops all week. Even if star pass rusher Mykel Williams is out for the second-straight game with an ankle injury, Georgia’s dominant defense should stifle Vandagriff and that’s why the Dawgs are huge road favorites.

Let’s take a look at how to watch Georgia and Kentucky in Lexington on Saturday night and get into the betting odds for this SEC showdown.
