Injuries are becoming a growing concern for Georgia. Last week they had to play without four of their top contributors on offense, and this week there is a chance one of their better defenders could miss the Auburn game.
Defensive back KJ Bolden has been one of Georgia's top players in the secondary this season which was expected, but on Wednesday he was listed as questionable to play against Auburn this weekend.

Losing KJ Bolden would be difficult to overcome
It isn't clear what injury Bolden is dealing with right now. He didn't suffer a noticeable injury against Alabama last weekend, so he either was hurt during the game and kept it hidden or he suffered an injury during practice this week. Either way seeing him show up on the injury report is not great for Georgia.
So far this season Bolden has recorded 22 tackles, 0.5 sacks and one interception. He has been a lockdown defender in coverage for Georgia who has been willing to put his body on the line to strike fear into opposing offenses by laying big hits whenever he gets the chance. He has been excellent for Georgia all season, but it remains to be seen if he'll play against Auburn.
KJ Bolden is a projected first draft pick at the upcoming 2027 NFL Draft. Georgia has depth behind him that can step in and play well if needed, but that don't have someone of his caliber.
So far this season players who have been questionable on Georgia's injury report more often than not ended up not playing. It remains to be seen if that will be the case with Bolden, but for now there's a chance he doesn't suit up against Auburn. The good news for him though is that after this game Georgia has their bye week, so he'll hopefully be healthy heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
The health of Georgia's RB room is still unknown
Georgia's secondary isn't the only position with some question marks heading into Saturday's game as the Bulldogs running back room is in a concerning spot as well.
Wednesday night it was reported that Chauncey Bowens was already ruled our for the Auburn game. This report also indicated that he could be out for a significant amount of time, but at this point an official timeline has not been set.
Wednesday night's injury report however did not include Nate Frazier. This could be seen as a good sign for his availability, but all last week he wasn't on the injury report and he still didn't play against Alabama.
The good news for Georgia's running back room is that Dwight Phillips and Bo Walker played extremely well against Alabama without Frazier or Bowens in the lineup. They however could use Frazier back in the lineup this week because without him they are one injury away from being in a horrific spot.
Kickoff between Georgia and Auburn is scheduled for 3:30 pm EST on Saturday, Oct. 17.
