3. Wide Receiver

Similarly to how easy it was to predict the starter at running back, so to is two of the starters at wide receiver. However, these two receivers are players Georgia fans will not be familiar with because they are both transfers.

Smart went out this offseason and snagged USC transfer Zachariah Branch and Texas A&M transfer Noah Thomas. Both players were top 10 receivers in the portal this year, with Branch being labeled as one of the most electric players in all of college football.

So the big questions at receiver is who the third starter will be. Two options really stand out and those are Dillon Bell and Nitro Tuggle. Bell recently shared that he will be returning for another season, and he is the most experienced receiver for Georgia next season. But just because he is the most experienced does not mean he will automatically be the starter.

Tuggle has been at Georgia for one season and he unfortunately did not play much this year, but he was a top 125 player in the 2024 recruiting class and someone Georgia's staff is extremely excited about. So much so that Georgia was able to convince Tuggle to withdraw his name from the portal almost immediately after he entered it.

That tells us that Georgia is extremely high on him, which could be enough to show that he has a great chance to become the third starter in the fall.

Prediction: Zachariah Branch, Noah Thomas, Nitro Tuggle
