Spring practice is officially here for Georgia football as Tuesday marks the beginning of a one month long sprint in Athens. Kirby Smart and his staff don’t have a ton of time to practice with their team at this point in the offseason, so that means they need to use ever chance they get to their advantage.

While there are a million questions Georgia fans will be asking about the team this spring, the one thing everyone wants to know is what the top of the depth chart looks like. So here is where things likely stack up on offense as Georgia gets their spring practice schedule underway on Tuesday as they build up to their Spring Game later next month.

Quarterback

QB1: Gunner Stockton

QB2: Ryan Puglisi

QB3: Colter Ginn

The quarterback competition all offseason will be the thing most talked about in Athens. In reality, there are two players who could win the starting job, but there is one player who is the frontrunner.

Gunner Stockton will be the first string QB throughout the spring as he is the most likely candidate to win the starting job. However, Ryan Puglisi will also have a chance to prove himself and win the job as well.

Puglisi never saw the field this past season, but many coaches and media members have not stopped singing his praises. Many have said he was extremely impressive all last season in practice, so that means he most certainly can win the starting job this year.

But even if that is the case, Stockton is still the favorite right now and will be the “starter” all spring.
