Georgia lost a lot of players to the NFL this offseason. There were howver a few more players who could've left for the NFL that ultimately decided to return to Georgia for one more season.

One of those players is Raylen Wilson, and he revealed his truth about what led him to come back to Georgia for another year.

"Coming out of high school, I always wanted to get a national championship," Raylen Wilson said via 247sports.com. "I'd say that's the main goal."

Lawson Luckie also spoke about what led him to come back to Georgia, and his reason is a little more special.

"It's a tough decision. I had to weigh out a lot of things, but just talking to my family, talking to coaches and the people around me, it just ended up making the most sense," Lawson Luckie said. "Playing with Carter for an extra year, like, that was a bonus, but it ended up just coming down to what made the most sense."

Veteran Bulldogs share why they came back to Georgia for another season

Wilson and Luckie were both good enough to go to the NFL this year. They both could've been drafted this summer and lived out their lifelong dream of playing in the NFL, but they both decided to come back. For Wilson it was as simple as wanting to accomplish his goal of winning a National Championship.

That likely is a reason why Luckie came back as well, but he also shared that he wanted one more year of playing college football with his younger brother Carter. It's hard to argue against that because who wouldn't want to play at a program like Georgia with their sibling? That is something almost no one can relate to, so to have one more year of that is really special for their family.

Wilson and Luckie both had fantastic years last season. They both also project to be some of Georgia's best players and leaders this year. And while their motivation to return to Georgia may be a little different, they both are ready for one final run before they hang up their Georgia jerseys for good.
