A lot of times it is very frustrating and sometimes even disappointing when a player enters the Transfer Portal. But then there are a times when someone from Georgia leaves the program that makes sense and receives well wishes from the entire program and fanbase.
That is what is happening with running back Roderick Robinson who entered the Transfer Portal and just announced that he is transferring to UAB.

Roderick Robinson will always have Georgia's support
Robinson came to Georgia as a four-star recruit with a lot of expectations to be a great player. He showed a lot of signs of being that elite player in Athens, but injuries didn't give him much of a chance to excel like he could have.
In his three seasons with Georgia he only recorded 34 carries, 221 yards and two touchdowns. Nearly all of those stats came during his true freshman season which is why there was so much hype surrounding him. But multiple injuries and the success of Nate Frazier and Chauncey Bowens made it impossible for him to break through during the past two seasons.
Last offseason especially there was a lot of excitement surrounding him. Multiple videos surfaced on social media showing the progress he had made after his latest injury, and there was a lot of hope that he could join Frazier and Bowens in the backfield and add yet another punch to Georgia's offense. That however did not happen this season.
Robinson now heads to a program in UAB where he will be able to immediately compete for a lot of playing time. Not only will he have a new fanbase cheering him on, but Georgia fans will also be supporting him at his next stop as well.
He did not deserve to go through what he did during his time in Athens, so out of every player leaving the program he is the one that deserves the most success and support from Georgia fans throughout the rest of his career.
