Last Week: 9

This week's results: 82-69 win vs. Kentucky, 72-62 win vs. Oklahoma

Georgia basketball had arguably the best week out of any SEC team, which they so desperately needed. Heading into this past week, the Bulldogs held a solid 12-2 record, but they were still looking for their first resume building win. Not only did they get a resume building win, they actually got two as they beat Kentucky and Oklahoma at home this week.

This is also the first time in many years that Georgia has won two ranked wins in a row. However, not only did they earn two ranked wins, they won both games by double digits. The Bulldogs have not been ranked in the AP Poll yet this season, but that surely will change when the updated rankings come out on Monday afternoon.

Up next for Georgia is two even more difficult games as they travel to Tennessee on Wednesday before hosting the No. 1 team in the country in Auburn on Saturday. Nobody expects Georgia to win both of these games, but if Georgia can win one then they will once again cement themselves as a legit NCAA Tournament team.
