3. Win the SEC

The next best thing after a perfect regular season is winning the SEC. This is arguably the second most important goal every season, and recently Georgia has been very good at winning the conference.

Georgia has won the SEC four times under Smart which includes three of the last four and the previous two. That experience should do Georgia wonders as Alabama is the only other team in the conference with any recent experience of winning the conference.

Entering this season it is Georgia and Texas who are the clear favorites to win the conference. The Longhorns are a slight favorite over Georgia, but the Bulldogs aren't too far behind.

Georgia has proven that Texas is no match for them since they joined the conference, so there are a lot of reasons for Georgia to be hopeful that they can take home the conference crown for the third year in a row.
