When Stetson Bennett stepped foot in Athens as a Georgia Bulldog, it took him time to become the National Champion-winning quarterback that he was. It took time for Bennett to grow and develop and he eventually led Georgia to two national titles, and now it looks like he is following the same path with the Los Angeles Rams.

Bennett has been in the NFL for two years now after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. In his first two seasons, Bennett just wasn't making great decisions on the field adn simply just looked lost. However, it now seems like Bennett is gone, and the one Georgia fans have always known is back.

With Rams starting quarterback Matthew Stafford in and out of practices with a back issue, Bennett has been getting a lot of time on the field, and offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur is loving every second of it. LaFleur has mentioned that Bennett is a completely different player this year compared to his first two seasons, and everything has just clicked for the young gunslinger.

"Like I said the other day, he's grown up so much," LaFleur said during media availability at training camp. "He's in such a good spot mentally...he's had great command of the huddle compared to what it used to be, but what I think is even better is when the ball snaps, he's just playing so fast."

LaFleur even brought up Bennett's talent from college, which everyone saw, and is why he was drafted to the NFL. He said that the knack he had in college is finally starting to shine through again; he certainly is making the plays he needs to make.

Bennett has been showing off his arm talent in training camp, and with the extra experience of playing with the starters with Stafford in and out, Bennett is making a real case for the rest of his NFL career, which could be very bright if he earns the opportunity.
