The NFL is full of so many players that care about their appearance and what people think of them. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it is refreshing to see players who couldn’t care less what they look like and just want to play football.

Former Georgia standout quarterback Stetson Bennett is entering his third season in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams, and ahead of his most recent preseason start this past weekend he made a statement. He made a statement that he only cares about playing football and not what his outside appearance looks like.

Stetson Bennett doesn’t care about style

The above post shows a picture of Bennett arriving at the stadium ahead of the Rams game against the Chargers on Saturday. Many of his teammates took this opportunity to dress in flashy clothes knowing that there would be cameras around, but Bennett didn't care about any of that. Bennett meant all business and showed up in plain t-shirt and shorts.

Funny enough, Bennett's t-shirt was a Georgia baseball shirt which seems random, but it is a great reminder of how much he loves Georgia.

Bennett proved on the field later that night that he has the game to back up this statement because he led the Rams to a dramatic 23-22 win over the Chargers. During this game Bennett completed 28 out of his 40 passes for an impressive 324 yards and three touchdowns. This included the game-winning touchdown pass with seven seconds left to play.

Bennett has quickly proven that he should be a starting quarterback in the NFL. That may not happen this season as fellow Bulldog Matthew Stafford is still in LA with the Rams, but in just a few short years every Georgia fan should expect to have a new NFL team to cheer for when Bennett officially starts taking the NFL world by storm.
