Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Stetson Bennett is showing out with the Los Angeles Rams right now, and everyone is noticing. Bennett right now is making a real claim to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, if not this season, certainly next season. After a great outing against the Dallas Cowboys last week, Bennett showed out again against the Los Angeles Chargers, but what happened before the game is what we are going to focus on here.

Lots of people wait to see what kind of crazy designer outfits athletes are going to wear into games, but for Bennett, he wore the best shirt according to Georgia Bulldogs fans. While heading into So-Fi Stadium Saturday afternoon, Bennett was seen wearing a red Georgia baseball shirt, not just choosing to represent the Bulldogs, but represent a sport he didn't even play in college.

If it wasn't clear before, this certainly makes it clear that Bennett bleeds Georgia red and black, and his love for the Bulldogs runs deep. The former Georgia walk-on kept the rest of his outfit pretty plain with just the shirt and some white pants, and clearly, something felt good as Bennett went off against the Chargers.

Stetson Bennett continues to impress in the NFL Preseason

Stetson Bennett played in his second preseason game this year, and he upped his stat line against the Chargers. The former Georgia Bulldog was 28-for-40 with 324 passing yards, three touchdowns, adn one interception. The only truly bad part of the game for Bennett was his interception off a big defensive lineman, and then trying to think he could take him out with a tackle.

Other than that, Bennett really impressed with his choice of throws and the three touchdowns, even outplaying the other backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. With Matthew Stafford's future uncertain at the moment, Bennett is making a real case to be the short-term starter for the Rams in case Stafford isn't ready for the start of the season.
