Georgia is earning themselves a lot of new fans. On Thursday it became clear that President Donald Trump was a fan of Georgia football, especially Gunner Stockton. But he wasn't the only celebrity that pledged their loyalty to Georgia this week.
Superstar gymnast Simone Biles also announced that she is a Georgia fan now as well. Yes, the 11-time Olympic medalist shared that she is a Georiga fan.

Simone Biles announces her Georgia fandom
Biles is one of those people that everyone loves. She has represented the United States three times at the Olympics, which on it's own is very impressive for the sport of gymnastics. But the fact that she won 11 medals (seven gold, two silver and two bronze) makes her one of the most decorated Olympic athletes of all time.
So what led her to become a Georgia fan? It is actually very simple.
Cécile Canqueteau-Landi was made the head coach of Georgia gymnastics in April of 2024. Canqueteau-Landi is a decorated Olympic coach who just so happened to spend a lot of time coaching Biles throughout her career.
So now that she is the coach at Georgia, Biles has decided that she is a fan of UGA. But she said that she isn't just a fan of the gymnastics team, but she is a fan of evert sport at Georgia.
Biles said that she plans to be in Athens to cheer on the gymnastics team from time to time. This however means that there is a great chance that she could decide to attend other sporting events as well, and since football and gymnastics both take place in the fall there is a good chance fans will see her in Sanford Stadium this fall.
Having someone like Biles hanging around is never a bad thing. She is one of the most respected athletes of all time, and having her on Georgia's side is a great honor.
