Georgia football has had to deal with their fair share of injuries this season, but one player who has made his return recently is offensive lineman Tate Ratledge.

Ratledge has been sidelined with an ankle injury since the Kentucky game, that is until Georgia's 34-20 win over Florida this past weekend. Ratledge was able to play the entire game, but it sounds like his ankle injury is still impacting him a little bit.

Kirby Smart shared how Ratledge's ankle is doing since his first game back, and it isn't exactly smooth sailing for Ratledge right now.

"Sore. You know, we had two guys really sore and hurting in there, Micah and Tate. Both were really tough, tough guys," Smart said via 247sports.com. "You can see on the tape they pushed through some injuries and played with some great toughness."

Unfortunately for Ratledge, he appears to still be struggling with his ankle injury after the Florida game. According to Smart, it doesn't seem like it's anything serious that could keep him out of future games, but any type of soreness or limitation is not a good sign.

It's clear how important it is for offensive lineman to be light and quick on their feet. So any type of injury to the foot can really hinder their performance. So hopefully Ratledge will be able to get a little extra rest this week before the big game against Ole Miss this weekend.

As Smart mentioned, Ratledge already toughed it out during the Florida game, so there should ne no doubt that he'll continue to do that the rest of the season. The only hope now is that he doesn't seriously injury his ankle again, because not having Ratledge for the next couple games would be a tough loss to overcome.
