Georgia football's showdown with Texas in the SEC Championship game is just one day away, and one of the biggest talking points heading into this game has nothing to do with the game itself. Tickets for this game are surprsingly cheap, with the "get in" price lower than it's been in recent years.
And while that is awesome news for us fans, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian took this as an opportunity to take a shot at Georgia fans.
“Tell me how much the ticket prices are and I can probably tell you how many Longhorns are going to be there.”
Sark: “Tell me how much the ticket prices are and I can probably tell you how many Longhorns are going to be there.”

Steve Sarkisian calls Georgia fans broke
Graham Coffey with Dawgs Central shared the above quote from Sarkisian from a recent press conference this week where he stated that the higher the prices for tickets go, the more Texas fans will be in attendance.
Does Sarkisian realize how this comment makes no sense?
As mentioned, ticket prices for this year's SEC Championship game are lower than they have been in previous years. And in those previous years Georgia fans have still flooded Atlanta and taken over Mercedes-Benz Stadium and had the majority of fans in attendance. So why would the ticket prices this year matter when Georgia fans have had great attendance the last few years when they've been more expensive?
Regardless, Sarkisian better hope Texas fans show up, because last I checked there are more tickets available on secondary markets on the Longhorns' side of the stadium than Georgia's side. And that would be really embarrassing for him to call Georgia fans broke just for them to take over the stadium.
Georgia fans already wanted to win this game bad enough, but hopefully this is the extra motivation they need to try and turn this into a home game for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs.
