The budget-friendly Georgia Bulldog every Dynasty needs in CFB27

The new CFB27 recruiting outline makes budgeting in dynasty mode crucial. For smaller schools, this Georgia QB could be the perfect addition.

Ever since the game was brought back to life in 2024, almost every college football fan has played EA Sports' College Football video game. Earlier this summer, the company launched CFB27.

One of the most played modes in the game is the Dynasty mode where you are given the reigns as head coach, offensive coordinator or defensive coordinator of any FBS program you want. To keep up with the modern times, this year's dynasty mode implemented a new twist, NIL spending.

Every school now has an NIL budget in the game. The smaller schools have less to spend on recruiting while blue bloods have nearly unlimited. Since there is no challenge in rebuilding a blue blood, so most users play with a small school. However, that means you now have to recruit very carefully. Since I have started playing the new game, one Georgia Bulldogs quarterback is available in the transfer portal almost every simulation I've played, Ryan Puglisi. And the best thing is, he's quite affordable.

Ryan Puglisi: The best value QB in CFB27

Just like real life, the game features the Transfer Portal window at the end of every season. While NIL is still a factor, you can get much better and experienced players in this window. What makes Puglisi such a good player to go after is the fact that he is budget-friendly. He does not want much NIL as compared to other QBs you will find in the Transfer Portal, making him a must for teams that do not have much to spend.

Puglisi is also experienced. If you are able to successfully land him, he will join your program as a redshirt junior or senior. Meaning, he will join your program at a high overall. He already has 90+ throw power and excellent accuracy as a pocket passer archetype. With decent speed to match it, you will not have to worry about what scheme you run when going after him.

Lastly, Puglisi values Playing Time in the game. When playing Dynasty mode in CFB27, players have "dealbreakers" just like in real life. Some value brand recognition or proximity to home. However, Puglisi just wants to play, which is also why he is normally an option in the transfer portal in the game. If you are a small school rebuilding, this is gold. He will start day one and he will know it, so your school will likely have an A+ rating and he will be interested in the school from the start.

Hopefully, Puglisi in real life will stick with Georgia and become our eventual starter next season after Gunner Stockton leaves for the NFL Draft. However, in the fictional game universe, he is the perfect guy you should be on the lookout for in CFB27.
