The college football world is nearing a more exciting time in the offseason as the spring rolls on. Once the season ends, there really isn’t much news to follow on the recruiting trail beyond occassional visits and coaches heading across the country to visit their top targets.
This can be exciting to follow at times, but it does not compare to the thrill of Georgia football landing a commitment.
The past few months is not a normal time for many players to commit, so that’s why Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs haven’t earned many commitments recently. But now that the calendar has flipped to April, commitments should become a lot more common.
And the Bulldogs have a chance to earn their next commit in the coming days, and it just so happens that this player is one of the top recruits in the country.

4-star TE Brock Harris
Brock Harris is a four-star tight end from Saint George, UT. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he is the No. 56 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 5 tight end in the 2026 class as well as the top ranked player from Utah.
According to On3, Harris has narrowed his recruitment down to six schools. This includes Georgia, BYU, Utah, Michigan, Miami (FL) and Oregon. On top of naming his final six schools, Harris has also shared that he will be announcing his commitment in just a few short days on April 7.
There are a lot of reasons for Georgia fans to be hopeful because Harris has said some very positive things about Georgia in the past. However, neither 247Sports nor On3 have made an official prediction in this recruitment yet, and with his commitment taking place in just a few days who knows where his head is at right now.
