Ty Simpson has no clue what he is talking about.

Georgia football dominated Alabama in every facet of Saturday's SEC Championship game en route to their 28-7 blowout victory. While Georgia's offense played really well, it was their defense that was the most dominant.

Not only did Georgia hold Alabama to just seven points, they also only gave up 209 total yards of offense. They also didn't allow one rushing yard as the Tide finished with negative three rushing yards.

There are countless stats that one could point to that shows just how great Georgia's defense was, but Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson isn't interesting in handing out any praise. In fact, he refused to give Georgia's defense any credit after the game.

"We (Alabama) know we have the best offense in the country."

This is quite the statement for Simpson to make after Alabama's offense looked horrendous all night long. Sure there is nothing wrong with him being confident in himself and his team, but this is taking things a little too far.

Going back to their matchup earlier this season, Alabama has only scored seven points against Georgia in the last six quarters they've played. Now how does he think they have the best offense in the country if that is the case? They also rushed for negative yards as well which is not what the "best offense in the country" would do.

Simpson also had a pretty rough game as well as he completed 19 of 39 passes for 212 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Again, those are not stats that the quarterback of the best offense in the country would put up.

Simpson didn't have to give Georgia a lot of praise after this game, but at some point he needs to tip his cap to the better team and not utter complete lies to try and make himself feel better.
