Georgia football’s senior class has accomplished a lot during their tenure at UGA. They’ve won two national championships, an SEC Championship and already have the most wins by a single class in program history.
With this class being as dominant as they’ve been during their entire time at Georgia, there always seems to be a new record that they’re reaching every single week. But there is a unique undefeated streak that this class has been on that is quite interesting, and one that will be on the line this Saturday against Texas in the SEC Championship game.
Our seniors have never lost to orange.

4-0 against florida
4-0 against tennessee
4-0 against auburn
2-0 against clemson
1-0 against texas
And I’m not planning on seeing the streak end Saturday
Georgia’s senior class has never lost to an orange team
Yes, you did read that correctly. Georgia’s senior class has not lost to an orange team during their entire Georgia careers. This includes being a perfect 4-0 against two big rivals in Florida and Auburn as well as a Tennessee team that’s been very good all four years they’ve been in school.
This even includes a perfect 2-0 record against Clemson and Georgia’s win against Texas earlier this season as well.
So while there are plenty of other more noteworthy records and accomplishments Georgia’s senior class has earned, this one is still very significant. Let’s remove the whole “color orange” aspect from this and just focus on the five teams mentioned. A perfect 15-0 record against these schools is remarkable because all five programs are great programs who have had very solid teams over the last four years. So Georgia never losing to any of them is a huge testament to the success that this senior class has found.
This streak could end this weekend as Kirby Smart and Georgia face Texas once again in the SEC Championship game, and while winning the conference title is more important, this is a fun little streak that would be cool to keep in tact as well.
