Georgia football and Kirby Smart have made it very clear that they want to get an elite quarterback in the 2026 class. Sure that is likely the case every year, but the Bulldogs so far only seem interested in the QBs who are at the top of the 2026 recruiting class.

So which quarterbacks should Georgia fans be paying the closest attention to? There are four QBs that Georgia has seen recent developments with, so here are those four quarterbacks and where Georgia stands with them all.

1. Jared Curtis

The first quarterback that Georgia is extremely high on in the 2026 class is Jared Curtis. This likely is a name that all Georgia fans are familiar with because he originally was committed to Georgia throughout 2024 before decommitting from the program on Oct. 17.

That however hasn't stopped Georgia's pursuit of Curtis, in fact they've only picked it up since then. Curtis also remains very high on Georgia as well, and that was seen when he announced that UGA made his top six along with Oregon, Alabama, South Carolina, Auburn and Ohio State.

Georgia also might even be one of the top schools out of these six as Curtis has scheduled an official visit with the Bulldogs later this summer from June 13-15. Curtis also scheduled official visits with South Carolina and Oregon as well, so these three schools might be his top three right now.

It seems like Curtis is the top choice at quarterback for Georgia in this class, which makes sense considering he is a five-star and the No. 1 QB in the class according to 247Sports. The next three names to be mentioned are all great options for Georgia as well, but if it were up to Georgia, Curtis is likely the player they would end up with in their class.
