Georgia football still has a chance to make the SEC Championship game, but they do need some help to get there. Entering the final two weeks of the regular season there are a few scenarios that will see Georgia earn their spot in the SEC Championship game, but there are two scenarios that are the most likely to occur.

In order for Georgia to make it to Atlanta, all they need is for Texas A&M or Alabama to lose their season finales. While it is more than possible for either team to lose, Vegas believes that the Aggies and Crimson Tide will both win their games and be the two teams to play for an SEC Championship.

Georgia's SEC Championship hopes are in trouble

Both Alabama and Texas A&M play non-conference games this weekend, so those outcomes will not impact the race in the SEC. But both teams do have one final SEC game remaining during the final week of the regular season.

Texas A&M will travel to Texas while Alabama will hit the road to face Auburn. The fact that both teams are playing on the road against a big rival should give Georgia some hope, but Vegas crushed those hopes this week.

Vegas currently has the Aggies favored by 2.5 points over Texas while Alabama is given a 74 percent chance to beat Auburn. But even though Vegas is favoring the two teams Georgia does not want to win, they still have hope.

Texas A&M has not played a good team in the SEC yet this season as all seven of their opponents are in the bottom half of the standings, so Texas will be their toughest competition yet this year. Alabama is also coming off a loss to Oklahoma, so Auburn might be smelling blood in the water as they hope to keep the Crimson Tide out of the College Football Playoff.

So even though Vegas thinks Georgia will miss the SEC Championship game, the Bulldogs still have a great chance to get there so they can defend their championship they won last season.
