The college football season is still multiple months away, but Vegas oddsmakers are already releasing spreads for a few week one games. Georgia unfortunately isn't one of the schools Vegas is highlighting since their week one opponent is Tennessee State, but a few of their future opponents do play big games during week one.
Three of Georgia's upcoming opponents had their week one spreads released on Thursday. Two other teams that Georgia could face in the SEC Championship game were also included as well. These opening spreads don't specifically say anything about Georgia, but they do reveal some information about what they could expect to see when they play these teams.
So let's see what Vegas thinks of a few of Georgia's upcoming conference opponents.

Vegas oddsmakers give Georgia new hope in quest for 3rd straight SEC title
Included in this list is Oklahoma who is Georgia's fourth game of the season and first SEC home game. They are predicted to lose at Michigan in their first game of the season which on paper doesn't seem like a bad loss. The Wolverines however have not been very good since they won a national title in 2023, so this could be a sign that the Sooners will take a step back this season.
Next is Auburn who Georgia has had no issues beating under Kirby Smart. The Tigers are predicted to handle Baylor by 7.5 points, but they are not a good program so that isn't something that should scare Georgia at all.
Finally there is Ole Miss who projects to be one of Georgia's most difficult games this season. They are predicted to beat Louisville by 8.5 which proves just how good they will be this season.
Texas and LSU are also predicted to win big games to start their seasons as well. Neither team is on Georgia's schedule this year, but they are two teams they could face in the SEC Championship game.
Vegas has set Georgia's over-under win total at 9.5 this season. That is a bit low for Georgia's standards, but that just shows how difficult their schedule is this year. But the Bulldogs are more than capable of winning their third SEC title in a row, and these early Vegas odds further prove how possible that is.
