Most of Georgia football's commits in their 2026 recruiting class have officially ended their recruitments. There are however a few recruits committed to Georgia who have not completely shut down their recruitments yet.
Four-star running back Jae Lamar is the most notable Georgia commit who is planning visits elsewhere this season, but two other Georgia commits thankfully just announced that they are 100 percent locked in with UGA and no longer allowing other schools to recruit them.
4-star DB Jordan Smith
The first commit to officially end their recruitment is four-star safety Jordan Smith.

According to 247Sports, Smith is the No. 6 safety in the country and the no. 57 overall player in the country. This makes Smith one of the highest ranked commits in UGA's class, and Smith's start to his senior season is growing the excitement surrounding his arrival to Georgia even more.
Last week during the first game of Smith's season he ran the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. There really isn't a better way to start a season than that, and it is that atheticism that Georgia fans can look forward to next year when he arrives in Athens.
4-star DL Carter Luckie
Four-star defensive lineman Carter Luckie also announced that he is locked in with Georgia and shutting his recruitment down.

It is a little surprising to hear that Luckie's recruitment was still open because he is the younger brother of current Georgia tight end Lawson Luckie. Regardless, it is till very nice to hear that Luckie will be joining his brother in Athens next season.
The hope now is that every other Georgia commit will end their recruitments just like Smith and Luckie. And if that happens, there is a great chance Georgia finishes with the No. 1 recruiting class in the country.
