Dawn of the Dawg has been keeping you up to date on all the breaking news and information leading up to the game, but if you missed any of it then you can rest easy. Here we’ll provide links to all the week’s stories leading up to the game with the Vols, along with some pretty strong opinions.
Earlier in the summer, we broke down Tennessee and what they might be expected to bring to Athens. They are a young but talented team hungry for wins.
We then started giving some updates on injuries to players from the Troy game, with some good, and not so good news for the Dawgs.
Next up, we broke down Georgia’s first three games and found out some important things we’ve learned about this team as they head into the meat of the SEC schedule.
Then we had a little fun with the Vols, and reminisced about Larry Muson and the immortal “Hobnail Boot” call, always great for getting under the skin of some Tennessee pumpkins.
A couple of quick features to add some spice to the week, talking about how SEC Nation would be in Athens for their live pregame show on the SEC Network, and then how ticket prices for the UGA-UT game are some of the hottest in the country.
Our weekly game preview gave a traditional look at how the game might turn out, and what some of the keys to winning might be, while Beau Bock took a more blunt approach to his preview of the game.
We can’t forget, this is the 50th anniversary of Vince Dooley’s first year as he Georgia head coach, and Dawn of the Dawg did a feature story on the celebration, and then we shared a video documenting that 1964 Georgia Bulldogs team.
Finally don’t forget our Live Game Thread, which will open up shortly before game time on Saturday. Join in the conversation with us and cheer on the Dawgs!
