No seriously, it was! DotD writer Mike Stowe was there and did a fantastic breakdown of what it was like to be at the event this year. UGA announced an official turnout of over 66,000 people. The second highest in the SEC behind only Alabama and one of the highest turnouts in the country for any spring game. With plenty of former greats like AJ Green on hand as well, there was a lot for fans to be excited for.

Despite the blow beforehand, the fans were pumped an in fantastic spirits. There were chants going on, people having a great time and plenty of prospects there for people to great. With most of the 2017 class that isn’t already enrolled there to chat up some more of the 2018 and 19 prospects, it was hopefully another event that will carry on the recruiting effort going forward.

Next: Another tough week for UGA baseball

While it might just leave us desperate for more football and September is only a summer away. Granted, its a long summer, but we’ll get there!
