The mystery surrounding one Georgia football 2017 signee is over. Robert Beal has finally enrolled at the University of Georgia.

Robert Beal has joined the Georgia football team and is ready to play, according to head coach Kirby Smart. After his daily press conference and directly after announcing the news that Beal was good to go, Smart said, “Who can tweet the fastest?”

Beal had experienced some enrollment issues due to academics, but has cleared all of the issues up. He is now officially a Georgia Bulldog.

Beal is a 4 star outside linebacker out of Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Ga. He will add depth to an already deep UGA defense. And while he may not start this season due to seniors Lorenzo Carter and Devin Bellamy returning for their senior seasons, look for Beal to contribute as a freshman and potentially start as a sophomore.

He has the potential to be a future all conference player. Beal is an extremely versatile and athletic player as seen in the video below. His high school experience at defensive end against quality Georgia high school offensive lineman shows his versatility.

Fellow in state 4 star defensive recruit Devonte Wyatt has experienced some problems similar to Beal’s. Wyatt enrolled at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas and began practice Tuesday. He will remain there until at least January. He may even be there longer if he is unable to get his grades high enough.

According to Hutchinson’s coach Rion Rhoades, Wyatt will attend Georgia when he leaves Hutchinson. Wyatt has no plans of reopening his recruitment.

Wyatt joins D’Antne Demery, an offensive lineman who signed with Georgia who was released from his letter of intent after being arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Defensive lineman Toby Johnson and defensive back Shattle Fenting are two current Bulldogs who transferred from Hutchinson.
