What Georgia must do to win.

Georgia has to make very few mistakes. Notre Dame probably wouldn’t have scored a touchdown if it weren’t for penalties and a fumble. On offense, take care of the football. I would imagine that Jake Fromm is still going to be the guy even though Eason practiced this week. Fromm has been efficient so far but has mishandled a few snaps. Once again, this is my weekly “call out the offensive line” part. They must make creases for the running backs because the State defense is rough.

Defensively I think Georgia will be alright. I’m super excited about the return of cornerback  Malkom Parrish. He is an experienced, lockdown corner who could be the difference in the game. The defensive line remains one of the best in the game. Trenton Thompson has looked better this year than he has in previous years. Tyler Clark will also return to bolster the defensive line depth which is important against this team. If the linebackers fill their gaps and stay disciplined, the defense should be successful.

Special teams could be important as well. Close games are often decided by mistakes made in that phase of the ball. If UGA can kick and cover well, that could make all the difference in this game. This has been a much-improved unit o far this year and this is going to be a good game to prove it.
