Georgia football just hosted the biggest recruiting weekend so far of the season. Here are is the updated 2020 class prediction after the Notre Dame game.

It’s time for the monthly 2020 recruiting class update for Georgia football. For the most part, things stayed the same. Even though Georgia had one of the biggest recruiting weekends last week against Notre Dame, things are under raps.

One of the latest to join the class is 4-star center Sedrick Van Pran on Aug. 17.

According to 247Sports team rankings, the Dawgs currently have the No. 6 overall class and the No. 3 SEC class. Georgia has an average ranking of 93.82 per commit.

Georgia currently 16 members including three 5-stars, 10 4-stars, and three 3-stars. The Dawgs could take up to 23-24 members in 2020 so the numbers are getting tight. So of the spots left, all of them could be taken by 5-stars, which is quite awesome.

However, I still think there is going some movement still even though we saw 4-star defensive tackle Jamil Burroughs de-commit on Sept. 6.

With Burroughs de-committing I still think that the Dawgs are going to take two more on the defensive line. Georgia could also take another linebacker, if there is room.

One of the things that we’ve learned since the last class prediction is that Georgia could take another quarterback to join Carson Beck, but that’ll depend on if Jake Fromm decides to stay his senior year.

In my opinion, I don’t the think Georgia takes another quarterback, and I’ll stick by it until my sources tell me otherwise.

With that being said here are my offensive and defensive class prediction update for September. You’ll see the changes from August’s prediction and who I think could take those spots.

I give a 1 out of 3 ranking for confidence that uncommitted prosepcts will commit to the Dawgs. Three means that I’m very confident and anything lower is in between confidence or very little at all.

**All the below rankings are according to 247Sports Composite rankings for the 2020 class**

The Dawgs have almost completed its offensive recruiting for the 2020 class, but still have two big areas to cover. Georgia has one running back and still no tight ends committed right now, but that could change soon.

Defense

Georgia’s 2020 defensive recruiting emphasis seems to be on getting a huge defensive line class, and I’m not upset with that at all. It looks like we could take three defensive backs now, and potentially one more linebacker.

Some things may have to change on the offensive side of things to make the room, but if the right guys want to come, Georgia will find ways to make room.

Defensive Line: 4 COMMITS (will take 1-2 more)

— Nazir Stackhouse (COMMIT): 4* 6-3.5 306 DT, No. 24 DT & No. 26 GA rank

Next. Georgia football: Dawgs above average against Notre Dame. dark

Georgia’s recruiting class for 2020 is really coming together as Early Signing Day is fastly approaching. The Dawgs had a HUGE recruitng weekend as Georgia hosted Notre Dame and it was a huge success. However, a lot of the information coming out of this weekend is still being kept quiet.

The Dawgs made a lot of head way this weekend for the 2020 class and the 2021 group as well. While there may not be any public news out there, Georgia made some moves happen and that win helped out with a lot of big names. It won’t be long until we find out who will fill this class.
