Georgia football running back James Cook

James Cook once again proved that none of us know how good he is. This young man’s ceiling is so high, and it’s exciting to see him come into his own at the right moment.

Cook recorded six carries for 32 yards, but it was his receiving performance that earned him the helmet sticker. He led the team with four catches for 112 yards and one score.

That 53-yard touchdown catch was perfect, and Cook showed not only can he tote the rock but also be a downfield threat when the Dawgs need him to be.

Georiga has a wealth of playmakers, but Cook is one of the guys who chose to come back for his senior year, and now he is having a career night in one of the Dawgs’ biggest games of the season.

He is coming into his own at the right moment and giving the Dawgs a dual-threat playmaker that can truly do it all. Cook increases his draft stock every time he steps on the field, and we’re living for that.

Cook came back for a reason, and this season proves sometimes coming back is the best thing an athlete like Cook can do for his career.
