For the second time this season, Georgia football gets an opportunity to face Alabama. The stakes couldn’t be higher this time, as the winner walks away with the national championship, a prize that has alluded the Dawgs for four decades now.

The Dawgs have a team loaded with elite talent on offense, defense, and even special teams. That talent propelled Georgia to a 13-1 record and an Orange Bowl victory, but they aren’t finished yet.

There is one last trophy this group wants to hoist at the end of this season. This season’s goals have been to win the SEC East, SEC, a semifinal, and a national championship.

While the SEC goal fell short, they did more than enough to get to the College Football Playoffs and now the national title, so they still have a shot at the final goal.

These three Georgia football players could play their last game in the Red and Black.

Part of the reason this team has been so good this season goes back to the players who announced they would be returning to Georgia for 2021 rather than leave for the NFL, with players like Jordan Davis and Devonte Wyatt being among the big names leading the way.

There are so many upperclassmen who have left their mark on the Georgia football team this year, and while it’s bittersweet, they’ve done what they wanted to when initially signing with the Dawgs. Head coach Kirby Smart wanted Georgia to contend, and they are.

These three guys could be playing in their final game as a Dawg, and we expect them to leave it all on the field fighting to end a 41-year drought.
