9. Georgia football sacks Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei seven times
Georgia football wanted to send a message to start the 2021 college football season, and playing against a top-five ranked opponent will either make or break a team’s year.
The Dawgs did end up sending a message in their 10-3 win over Clemson as they sacked DJ Uiagalelei seven times. After that game, that poor quarterback didn’t know what happened to him as the Dawgs bullied him badly.

“Look out for Nakobe Dean, he’s going to have a monster season! 17 is a problem.
Dan Lanning is dialing up pressure and dominating the line of scrimmage!”

Georgia allowed just 180 offensive yards and just four plays over 10-yards against the Tigers. While neither offense could get much going, the Dawgs’ made sure to stay elite on defense.
Nakobe Dean and Adam Anderson led the pack with two sacks each. Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith, and Travon Walker recorded one sack against the Tigers to give the Dawgs their seven.
Georgia also finished the game with 21 quarterback hurries, so Uiagalelei had a long night.
This performance silenced any doubters who couldn’t figure out who had the better defensive front as Georgia proved they did.
Clemson wasn’t ready for what happened in Week 1, and after that, the Tigers struggled throughout the season while Georgia cruised along. What we all saw happen that week was the start of a special season, so it had to rank inside the top-10.
