Georgia football is one of the final teams for 5-star 2023 quarterback Arch Manning and the latest news announcing it gives the Dawgs an advantage.

Reports this week surfaced that Manning wouldn’t be accepting any NIL offers before enrolling in school, which is why it bodes well for the Dawgs.

On3 made the initial report, and that news was a relief because there is no telling what Manning will do in his recruitment, but seeing that the NIL stuff wasn’t a top priority for him allows teams to pitch their program.

Georgia football has an advantage because it doesn’t have to worry about NIL deals with Arch Manning.

The Dawgs are one of Manning’s finalists, but many people haven’t fully gotten on board seeing someone like him in Athens. Georgia has the best college city atmosphere, the team is in a great spot, and it would be a fantastic place to leave a legacy.

Many experts suggest that Georgia wouldn’t allow him to leave his legacy, but that isn’t true. He has an excellent opportunity to do that wherever Manning goes.

However, the NIL system has presented some issues along the way, as in its short time alive, it has flipped college football on its head.

Seeing someone of Mannings’ stature and knowing that NIL is off the table until he enrolls somewhere is enormous. It shows how invested he is in each program. With the NIL being a state-to-state situation, it can be tougher for equal recruiting.

Now Georgia can really focus on selling Manning to come to Athens and be the next great quarterback. One of Georgia’s great quarterbacks, Aaron Murray, endorsed the university, plus it’s a great recruiting tool having that happen.

It’s clear the Dawgs want Manning on their team, and with Murray, even giving endorsements is big-time. Murray is one of the best modern Georgia quarterbacks, so he must endorse the position.

Manning has a big decision to make, but the Dawgs will have an excellent opportunity to get him since they don’t focus too much on the NIL.
