Georgia football sent 15 players into the NFL after making history at the 2022 NFL Draft. With the season right around the corner, most rookies are already taking over and standing out among their teams.

These guys are all talented and some of the best to come out of Georgia, so seeing them leave an impression already is no surprise.

A handful of rookies prove that Georgia had the best team in college football last year, and now they will make their NFL teams even better.

Guys like James Cook, Lewis Cine, Nakobe Dean, Travon Walker, Zamir White, Jordan Davis, Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt have all left a mark.

The Dawgs’ rookies are taking over the league one day at a time, and the season is still a few weeks away — now that is how you do it. Sometimes it takes rookies a while to get accustomed to their new teams, but it appears this group of guys hit the ground running.

Some rookies have even made the early first-team depth charts for their teams.

Georgia football has a handful of its rookies already taking over the NFL.

Walker and White showed during the Hall of Fame Game that Jacksonville and Las Vegas would be utilizing them. The Jags really let Walker loose, and he is already leading the world why he went No.1 overall. There were also flashes of greatness from White. He looked healthy and ready to prove himself in the NFL. It’ll be exciting to see how the Raiders use White in the offense.

Quay Walker is one of two Dawgs drafted by the Packers. Walker has officially been listed as a first stringer, which doesn’t surprise us at all because he is a stud. He and Devonte Wyatt are teammates once again, and both are already impressing their coaches.

Once he got in a situation where Walker could be the main linebacker, he would shine, and here we are seeing him on the first string before the start of his rookie season.

Wyatt got listed as a second-team defensive end for the Packers, so it may not be the same level as Walker, but it’s still incredibly awesome to see both guys doing their thing. He may be second-string, but if Wyatt keeps improving, he will see playing time as a rookie. Wyatt is a stud and underrated, so it’ll be exciting to see how he keeps working throughout camp and into the season.

Lewis Cine received love from the Vikings organization immediately, showing in camp just how big of a weapon he would be for Minnesota. In this video, it’s clear that Cine is giving it all he has to prove himself. While we all knew it wouldn’t be long before Cine made headlines, it’s great to see him do it this quickly.

The Eagles also drafted two Dawgs in the 2022 NFL Draft in Dean and Davis. Both guys have made headlines throughout this offseason and into the camps. Both have gotten first-team reps, but it seems for now they both are second string on the depth chart.

Dean has a chip on his shoulder, and hearing what the Eagles head coach had to say about him shows it won’t be long until he breaks through into the first-string lineup.

Davis has gone viral this week after manhandling the offensive lineman during practice, but he is still listed as a second-stringer. These first depth charts are a good indication, but as talented as Davis and Dean are, they could see themselves with more playing time.

He embarrassed that offensive lineman, which was so much fun to watch. Davis is incredible, and he is strong, which gets proven in the video.

Pickens is another guy who has gotten a lot of attention during camp. His work ethic and sheer talent have landed him on the Steelers’ first-string depth chart.

Look at his athleticism because it should remind us how fantastic Pickens is. This video isn’t the only one that has gotten love because Pickens is keeping the attention on himself.

Pickens is healthy and ready to cause havoc. He is proving that he is the steal of the 2022 NFL Draft, and it’s hard to argue otherwise. The Steelers got a good one in Pickens, and now the rest of the division should be shaking in their boots.

Last on this list is James Cook and how he is already drawing attention in Buffalo. As someone who shared the load at Georgia, seeing him prove himself like most Dawg fans thought he would is a breath of fresh air.

Cook is as talented as his brother Dalvin, but that ceiling is still extremely high, so who knows what could happen. He could end up a better running back than his brother. Don’t compare the two, though, because James Cook is his own person and has his own strengths.

Camps are in full force for the NFL, and these rookies are proving just how talented that 2021 team was for Georgia. They are making the Dawgs proud by proving themselves right away and showing that Georgia players are taking over the league.

Fans will hear former Dawg names a lot this season, and it’s exciting to know the Georgia football brand will continue to get love in the NFL if not more love. This production and success will be the first of many things these talented rookies make happen in 2022.
