Georgia football is 12-0 once again and eying another national championship. First will be the SEC title, but the Dawgs won’t stop there and will not stop until they accomplish all their goals. The last month has featured impressive performances from Georgia but not nearly what fans expect from the Dawgs, especially the offense.

There has been some speculation about whether Georgia is this good or if demise is coming in the postseason. However, does anyone realize how hard it is to go 12-0 in back-to-back years? It’s tough to do, and the Dawgs are doing it impressively.

The Dawgs are the scariest team in college football right now because, despite people thinking Georgia isn’t elite, those individuals are wrong. Head coach Kirby Smart is playing the long ball and is not worried about blowing out teams as long as the Dawgs win. He knows how good this group is, and now he can unleash them.

Georgia football is still ascending and hasn’t peaked yet.

After the Georgia Tech game, Ladd McConkey talked to the media about what it looks like when the Dawgs play their best, and his answer sent chills down my spine.

"“I think we have had glimpses of it. We have really good halves — whether that’s the first or second half. We haven’t been there completely yet,” McConkey said after the Tech game. “We have to click and not turn the ball over and just play our game. Once we do that, it’s going to be awesome. We’re still ascending— that’s the plan. That’s what you have to do to compete late in the season.”"

To know that the guys don’t feel like they’ve played their best yet should excite all of the Georgia fans and terrify the rest of the opponents that may take on the Dawgs. That game against Oregon was dominating, and while Georgia has dominated since then, I think that is the team fans will get to watch this postseason.

Georgia knows how good it is, but no one else knows because each week, they see something different from the Dawgs. There is a reason behind all the madness, and Smart knows what he is doing. This quote from McConkey proves that the best is yet to come for Georgia, and this 2022 squad could make even more history. Georgia is on the warpath, and it doesn’t care who it takes on next.
